1. Inbuilt Facebook Post Scheduler
Yes, Facebook has an inbuilt post scheduler, which means you can plan all your content on one day of the week and have it schedule to go out at a time and date which suits you. To use this handy tool, create your post exactly like you normally would and instead of click on post in right bottom corner, click on the ‘clock’ in the left hand corner. From there you can select a year, month, day and time. Facebook allows you to schedule up to 6 months in advance.
2. Facebook Pages Manager
If you are out and about in your business the Facebook Page Manager is a must. Via the app you can check in on your page, see how many likes and comments, plus respond back to them. You can publish new content and schedule content in advance! There is also basic insights to make sure your content is working. It’s free to download from the iTunes store or Google Play store.
3. Link Facebook To Twitter
Not everyone will agree with this, but it works for me and it works for many people. Facebook is my main platform and I’m only on Twitter a few times per month – I just love Facebook too much. Therefore to make sure my content on Twitter is current I have my Facebook Page automatically post to Twitter. It will reformat longer posts and photos – so don’t worry. If you want to link yours together then go to www.facebook.com/twitter and follow the instructions.
4. iPhone (or Smartphone) Camera
Photos on Facebook work. When users are scrolling through their news feed, it’s the photos which stand out and get their attention, however stock photos can be expensive. That’s why I take photos with my iphone. The quality is great and it’s easy to use. Most people never go anywhere without their phone so will never miss the moment to take the perfect shot needed. Or you can take images from your office to illustrate points. In one of my webinars I talk about tracking using a pen and paper via the phone and of course I took picture of my Kikki K notepad and pen all with my Iphone! So, get snapping.
5. Pic Monkey
Once you start taking images with your phone you might want to add something extra to them – either a border or overlay your website address. You can do this for free online wit Pic Monkey. Pic Monkey is an awesome tool which helps you make your images amazing. It’s a simple drop and drag, click and point system. You can also create your own Facebook Cover images and they have templates where you just have to add your own images. Find out more at Pic Monkey
